The dynamic normaliser was on and is now off but the problem persists. Turns out it's not just a headphone thing either, it happens no matter What's playing.

It's just nearly impossible to use any media with sound as the sound jumps to full. This has been in the last 1-2 months and was previously fine. Please help!

With a cover, the screen cracked from a minor fall.
No fix that I know of, but after a while mine just fixed itself. It did it again a couple of times but seems to have been fine recently. I guess just ride it out and hope for the best. I have a feeling it might have been caused by a system update.

I don't think I deleted any apps before mine righted itself but maybe one updated and fixed the problem. These are the media apps currently on mine so you may be able to rule them out as problem areas:

Stitcher

Netflix

iplayer

youtube

iplayer radio

bt sport

bbc media iplayer

now tv

spotify

all 4

amazin music
