Phone doesn't recognize power charger EXCEPT when plugged on the power bank

Hello ! My phone (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact) suddenly doesn't recognize the power charger when plugged on the wall and on the computer. However, the charger works when plugged on my power bank. I also charged my power bank with it. So I know the micro USB port works and my charger works. I talked to a Sony technician, and he told me the software had probably an issue. I just don't understand why it suddenly does that, I didn't even dowloaded a new app, did an update or hung out on risky websites.

I'm currently on my 3 or 4th Xperia Z3 Compact model since I bought the first one 2 years ago. I had the same battery problem everytime and had to send it back to the factory. The warranty expires in two weeks. I have the current model for 3 months.

If someone woud find the problem and its solution, I would be so happy ! I don't want to buy a new phone...

I've seen a similar issue before, get a brand new USB cable, even if it seems to work with other devices, and report back.

I just restored factory settings, it didn't help...

My local Sony support received my phone. In their quotation, they say the reparation costs are too expensive and I'd rather accept an exchange for 264€ / 278$ and the warranty doesn't cover that issue.

My warranty expires next week, even if I contact them, I'm sure these bastards will wait some days till it's too late...
