Z3+ USB connectivity

Hi
I have an issue with my new Z3+ ,when i connect to any pc with a USB cable, i only hear the sound for plug in, but nothing else happens:
- i dont get the automatic notification to choose charging or file transfer on my sony
- The mobile dosnt charge
-& Phone is not discoverable on the pc

Please help on this, and note that it worked on the safemode

If it works on safe mode then it's a third party acting up

It could be an antivirus/security app.

Hi @Mwael105,

You can also try enabling USB debugging mode. To do this go to Settings > About Phone, and tap on Build until it says "Developer Mode Activated". You will see a new setting in your settings menu called Developer Options. Go in to here and turn on USB Debugging.

hi i have problem with otg in xperia z3plus e6533 mm253

i do detect usb device but didnt work for me and the cable&flash are safe

Hi..@CameronT thanks a lot , it works now, but should i leave the usb debugging on forever, or is there another step to do

It's fine to leave USB Debugging on, you shouldn't notice any difference in how your phone operates otherwise.
