Unable to Register IMEI on Sony Mobile Website

Seems that I am unable to register my IMEI on the Sony Mobile website.

Any idea how to proceed ?

Hey @razmatei,

Could you send me a private message here on the forum with a little bit more information? Please provide your IMEI (don't post it here in this thread, personal information is not allowed), and let me know what the error message you receive is and I'll have a look at it.

IMEI sent as PM to you. Message is "The IMEI is not valid". But it is because it is given by me by the phone when typing *#06#* (and I double checked it in the Android's Settings page). They are the same (as it should be). It is only in ther Sony Mobile portal where it complains as not being valid. Odd...

Yes I just saw your PM. Now it appears in the portal (regardless if I login with Sony or Google account). So all is OK++.

I have the same problem and my cellphone doesn't turn on either, I already make the hare reset and nothing happends. I don't know what to do

I have same problem here. Unable to register IMEI on Sony Mobile Website. Can you tell me what was the reccomended procedure in these circumstances? I wonder why this advice wasn't given in plain view??

Hi @Simona1,

I understand that it may seem strange that I don't assist directly in the thread, but the reasoning is that private information is handled which is against the community guidelines. What I do is that I look up the IMEI and try to see what may cause it not to register properly for your account. Once I see what the reason is, I try to set it up for you.

I have the same problem with a Xperia M4 Aqua, it says that the imei code is not valid. I checked in "phone information" and typing the "#06#".
