How to set the default USB connection mode to MTP

When I connect my Z3C to my PC (USB), an USB menu appears on the display with the following options:

- Only charge

- Transfer files (MTP)

- Mass storage mode (MSC)

- MIDI

When connecting, the menu selects the first option (only charge) by default.

How do I set the 2nd (MTP) option to be the default choice when connecting to my pc?

BTW: under Settings - Device connectivity - USB connection - here the only option is to choose weather I want to install software or not. Nothing further

You have to select one option every time you connect the phone to a computer.

Hi Tijs67,

as @uliwooly has pointed out you do need to choose every time and the default is always set to charge as this is one of the major primaries when connecting to a USB device.

Hello, under the usb connectivy, i can't see the mtp option, i can only see the install software, help pls, thx
