Camera not working, the screen is just black

Hey!

Suddenly my Xperia Z3 Compact's camera stopped working. When I open the camera, I can see the buttons but the screen is just black. If I take a picture, it is like in this photo. Front camera works fine. I did factory reset but It didn't help. Does anyone know what to do?

Settings > apps > camera > storage > clear data > boot in >>> safe mode make sure to store the pictures on the internal storage.

I did that but unfortunately it did the same thing in the safe mode.

Time to contact your Local support to get it inspected, it might be hardware related.

I have the exact same problem! Took it to a repair shop to get the camera replaced, but was told that's not the issue.
If you figure out how to fix it I'd love to know!!

Hey!

I took the phone to the shop where I had bought it, because it had still warranty left. They sent it somewhere to be fixed but they couldn't fix it! So I got completely new Sony phone.
