Can't connect my windows 8.1 laptop to Sony SRS-X55 wireless speaker

I have been able to connect the speaker to my phone but not my laptop. The laptop is recognising and pairing with the speaker but for some reason it is not connecting.

I am sure it is something really simple that I am not doing but I have tried everything I can think of.

Can anybody help?
