Logging on Issues - MySony

Good Afternoon all

Several forum members have contacted me now, and thought id create this thread to explain to the others who are have problems.

Some of you may be experiencing this message when logging on to your MySony Account in order to use these forums:

Upon validating the email address, you might get this:

Unfortunately this is a known issue for some people. A support ticket has been raised in Sony's technical department to resolve this, but unfortunately it is not fixed as of yet.

When it is, ill post back. In the mean time, either sit tight, or if you have an email from a subscribed thread, you can reply to that email to post on that particular thread.

Hello all

Latest progress:

Issue with some MySony accounts appears to be the merging of accounts over various platforms (i.e. MySony, Playstation, Mobile etc). This has caused an error on some accounts.
Sony's technical team believe they have found a solution.
This solution will not be implemented until Monday night.
You should be able to log back in on Tuesday morning.

Let me please re-iterate, no account information has been hacked, lost, stolen or otherwise. This is purely a technical fault on Sony's end.

Hello all

A couple of people have confirmed that they can now log in to MySony and hence these forums, where they could not do so before.

But no confirmation from Sony to indicate that its fixed as of yet,
