topic Should I go digital? And should it be Sony? in Alpha & NEX interchangeable lens cameras

Evening all

Happy to have stumbled across this community and posing a question that has been on my mind for a while. I'm a traditional photographer shooting film with a lovely Hasselblad and my trusty FM3A, I'm reaching the point whereby I'm considering taking that bold leap into the unknown and purchase a digital camera.

A good friend of mine recommended the Sony a7 r mkII.

Keen to hear anyone's experience transitioning from film to digital and why Sony would be a good choose say over Canon or even Nikon? The Hasselblad digital looks amazing but the price less so.

Thanks

Havana77
