A77 Tethered Shooting - Any Progress

I see a lot of posts about the A77 lack of tethered shooting - I have had my A77 for a month and just gone to use something which I ASSUMED it had and find the A77 doesn't have tethered shooting - WHAT!! It has GPS, Face recognition, 12 shots per second, etc. and doesn't allow tethered shooting?

The posts I see date back to 2012 so I'm asking if the promised (well ok, POSSIBLE) firmware update has happened yet. I guess not as I recently did the firmware update.

Come on Sony get into the 21st century

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..

As you have noticed there are several posts in this Community from users requesting Sony release a firmware update for the A77 but alas it would seem Sony have failed to do this & as time goes on I'm afraid it's less likely that this will happen..
