topic Sony A7 mk1 - HDR fault? in Alpha & NEX interchangeable lens cameras

Hello, my Sony A7 does not appear to adjust HDR images correclty. When I use auto or manual HDR, both the shadow and highlight areas are brightened (any area of overexposure acually gets bigger in the HDR image). Does anyone know why this is happening? The camera is currently 'version 2'.

Just in case anyone else should suffer this issue, I have found that using auto ISO setting gives properly exposed images. I had previously used a fixed ISO setting. My NEX5 HDR mode works fine with a fixed ISO value.
