My a6000 gives me an error message that "lens not recognized" (the standard 3.5 - 5.6/PZ 16-50 OSS). The troubleshooting on-line manual says to try another lens. If it recognizes that, the problem is the lens, not the camera. Camera DID recognize my other lens (4.5-6.3/55-210), so I ordered a new 16-50 lens. The camera "doesn't recognize" this new lens either. What do I do now?

It may not help but have you tried a reset on the camera?

Are there any dirty contacts on the lens or camera?

If not I think its best you give support a ring on +44 (0) 2073652810
