can you use playmemories to play back video?

I have uploaded an MP4 file. It works fine, but editing options are limited to trim /slideshow / save frame. Edit / conver photos are greyed out. I tried to Convert the file, hoping it would allow more edit options...got a message warning that this would take a ling time. Perhaps I should look for a more advanced video editor? thanks

Hello @iprior,

PlayMemories is very, very basic when it comes to any post processing of photos or videos.

I would recommend to try the free software "DaVinci Resolve" (scroll to the bottom of the page) or buy the very beginner friendly software "Magix Movie Edit Pro" for a very small amount of money.
