Have set the Audio Recoding to ON and Audi Level to maximum but sound is even less than a whisper when playing back in Camera - how can I fix this ??

If things are going different than expected the first step is reading the manual.

Another first step to force the camera act as expected is a factory reset.

The recorded sound video can be adjusted as expected normally on my Apple iMac - however the sound on the camera is barely hearable whilst the sound is set to maximum - is this something specific to the Sony a6400 ?

Hey Kidson, try removing the batteries for two minutes then try again.

Removing the batteries and then replacing and camera reset had no effect on the result
