Hey everyone. Very broad spectrum question first off, what is the benefit of shooting both RAW and JPG on a Sony Alpha Camera? A follow-up question, does Sony RAW bring over any pre-established s192.168.1.254 ettings into Lightroom (like recent Nikon cameras) and if so can it be stopped? 10.0.0.0.1

Hey @karbomike,

Well the benefits of shooting Raw and JPG, is that y'd have the original uncompressed files that's taking advantage of all the settings and the camera settings, and another compressed smaller sized file that's ready to use without further adjusting or editing?
Kind of pleasing both professionals, and non professionals at the same time
