Non-functioning DSC-RX10IV camera

My three year old camera has just stopped working. After using it a couple of days ago the lens suddenly stuck in an extended position. The camera instructed me to turn the camera on and off but this makes no difference. The battery is fully charged. I’ve ploughed through the Sony website but I can’t find a number to contact to find out where I can get it repaired. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Have you also removed the Battery?

My RX10IV has just developed the same problem. Just wondering if you managed to get yours repaired and what the cost was?

For anyone interested, I've had a quotation to fix my broken RX10iv, which comes in at £834 inc VAT. It breaks my heart, but regrettably I'm going to have to scrap my 4 year old camera. Gutted 😢
