My sony tablet SGPT1211 will power up and reach the Sony screen but won't go any further than that and cant get to the home screen at all. Could this be a screen issue or perhaps a software issue??

This specific model (Sony Xperia Tablet S) is not supported by the Sony Xperia support as it is a product from Sony Electronics, and they are the ones providing the support for it, and you can get in touch with them on the link below.

Since we do not support this tablet at all, I have no information if it has reached end of support or not.
