Factory Reset and old content on the HDD

I have a X9005C TV, which is capable to record films on an external HDD and I have recorded already some films.
Unfortunatelly I need to make a factory reset, see the issue "HOME Taste funktioniert nicht mehr, KD-55X8005C".

Question:
Has applying a factory-reset any effect on accessing the old content on the HDD in the future ?
Do I have to (re)register the HDD on the "new" system ?

I noticed your message is mostly english (except for the error message the TV gives you). Do you want me to move this thread to the UK-forums?

The recording HDD is still fully functional after a factory reset.
