topic cant find all the channels in Other TVs

cant find all the channels

i bought the bravia kdl - 37BX401 and did the auto search..

the problem is that out of 50 it finds only 15 and stops..

with the technition we discovered that it didnt look for vhfh channels , only uhf.. is there anywhere in the perfernces that says to look for vhfh?

pleas help!!

Have you done a firmware update? Worth giving this a go first. Is it connected to a fixed or moveable aerial?

Hi,

This problem has a few possibilities I believe.

1. Auto Start Up

During auto start up, if the country selected is UK, then only UHF channels will be picked up as UK does not have VHF channels.

In this instance, then it should be possible to do re-auto start up and ensure correct country selected.

Hopefully this will solve your problem, if not then it could be a problem with the tuner inside the TV set.
