Whilst this won't solve the pixel issue, have you tried updating your firmware to the latest version to resolve the remote issue?

What is the dead pixel policy for the EX503 range of LCD's??

Also sometimes the HOME and OPTION buttons do not work on the remote control. The TV flashes its light to register the remotes action but nothing happens??

Any answers gratefully received!!

Hi Eduzzel,

First thing I did was update the firmware by USB!!! The remote problem only happens sometimes, other times its fine. I just can't pinpoint how and why it happens.

I have one dead pixel on my screen that I am Extremely annoyed about after just 4 weeks use. It may have even been there from day one, only whilst I was cleaning the set did I notice it and now I see it all the time....... This was one of the reasons I got rid of my Philips set as it developed a dead pixel, after 4 years use.

How many do you have to have before Sony do the honourable thing??
