KDL-42W829B not communicating with Sony HT-XT100 Soundbase

Hi, My very new TV used to work with my very new soundbase. But 1 day ago, stopped.

Error message - 'TV speakers active due to communication error with Audio system'.

I have tried different HDMI cables, restarting the TV & the Soundbase - nothing.

Nothing had been changed that would afect this. I have checked the HDMI setting on both sets.

I do have audio thru the TV speakers.

Any help is very welcome.

Hi

Try turning all equipment off from the power point for a minute, then swutch it all on again. This tends to reset the hdmi handshake.
