topic Freeview HD in Other TVs

Just bought a new TV from John Lewis. By all the information online including Sony's own website, it has a built in Feeview HD tuner. However I cannot get any HD channels. All the other TVs in the house receive HD channels & there is nothing wrong with the cable. I reported this to John Lewis who supplied a replacement TV which has the same issue.

Help!

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Hi there

Most of the time this problem is due to something on your side. I would test using the same aerial lead and aerial point from one of your tvs that does work. Also check the signal strenght and signal quality on the other tvs.

Also, have a look at the EPG and see if there are any/many in the 800 range as you might be picking up a weak signal from another transmitter instead.

Sounds odd. Freeview isn't too usr freindly putting HD channels in the 100+ range. You have tried scrolling through the guide to this channel range?
