KDL-50W805B Standby light flashing red 3 times, not turning on

Hi, tv is 3 years old and the standby light is flashing red 3 times and not responding to remote, or turning on. Why is this and how can it be fixed?

TV Model is KDL-50W805B.

Please help. Thank you.

Hi @ChrisMc14ch and welcome to the Community

The red light flashes when a TV has detected an issue or problem.

I believe 3 flashing red lights means either a bad main logic or power board.

(Which would match your symptoms of no power.)

You could try a power reset on your TV to see if that fixes it, however

usually this kind of problem can only be fixed by a repair.

Do you have any warranty left on your TV?
