I have a Sony XR-65A75K tv and when watching catch up all of a sudden I’m getting an audio description but not when watching live tv, any idea to switch it off?

I noticed the other day that Black Snow, on the BBC iPlayer, comes in three separate versions; standard, signed, and audio described.

I would imagine if someone chose the AD version, they wouldn’t be able to turn it off, as it would be embedded.

Could something like this explain what you are hearing?

To be fair I considered that, and sounds it maybe that, as it was BBC iPlayer. Didn’t get chance to select which audio though as just used TV guide to go back a day and selected it from there. Would be very annoying if it defaulted to that, whilst it maybe helpful for some it’s very annoying if not required. I will try other channels and selecting thru the bbc iPlayer app and see if makes a difference. Thanks though 👍🏻
