Sony 50X94S TV turns off

Hi,

I have set the Turn off TV after......to Never

However, if I am on a streaming app and I pause the programme I am watching for a few minutes, the TV completely turns off.

Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?

@royabrown2 seeing as u were so helpful with my other post. Any ideas why my TV turns off, when I have the setting that I am aware of turned off?

Sorry, I don’t know,

It looks like this is the TV turning off after what it thinks is a period of inactivity, and such periods are measured in minutes rather than hours, but I don’t know where you might find such a setting on your TV and alter it.

But it could be something to trawl through your menus looking for.

Hello @Azzzza97, since you have already switched this setting to off, so I'd recommend checking the software version, make sure it is up-to-date.

Also make sure that Idle TV Standby & Sleep timer are set to off as well
