BDV E370 Sound problem

Hi Sony,

I have a problem with the optical audie, its worke fine som weeks ago, but now i Can't play sound from my Apple tv to me sony DVD (BDV e-370).

I use to have a menu where i can chose witch way i want to play the sound, (( AUX, Optical, TV, Scart )) this is gone now.

So i use "function" on the controler.

This still not help.

The only way i can play sound is when i put an DVD in.

Hi there

When you press the [Function] button on either the remote control or the front of the unit, is it actually changing the input source?

If it is and you are not getting audio from the different input source (i.e. optical), then check to see if the optical cable is fully plugged in correctly. Sometimes just unplugging and re-insterting works. You shoul be able to hear the optical cable should 'click' into place. If that still fails, try another optical cable.

If you cannot cycle through the input sources usng the function buttons, then I would suggest a factory reset of the BDV-E370 is probably needed. HOME > Setup > Resetting.
