BDVN-7200WB HDMI ARC Stuck

I have my tv a LG 60UH850V connected to my BDVN-7200WB via HDMI ARC

the receiver ends up being stuck on its own TV-input. i cannot use the BDVN-7200WB as a bluray player as it is stuck, it just displays the sony visuals, i ahve also tried to connect up my nintendo wiiu via hdmi but alas canot view the signal.

I try hitting home on three different remotes; the receivers original remote, my harmony hub app and my TVs remote. Nothing works. It's stuck. The only thing that works is unplugging the systems power, wait a couple of minutes and put it back in.

I hope i get a reply its driving my wife nuts and needs to be sorted out asap

Hi @Datavampire,

This could be an issue with HDMI control (Sony calls it BRAVIA sync). You could try disabling this function on the TV and Player to see if this solves the issue. Please also check that all your devices are running the latest software.

I turned of the HDMI controle i think its called CEC on my LG tv but when you do that it switches the HDMI arc off thus i get no sound .

In this case, you could try a HDMI cable without CEC connection (you can get them on Amazon)
