RDR-hxd995 no channels, no EPG

RDR-hxd995 worked fine last night but this morning, can't get channels and just displaying D--- where a channel would be displayed. I assume this is a variation of our old problem when an update has failed as performing Mr Onion's solution "replace channels and select France" worked although as before still no EPG but at least (I hope) it will record what has been set up and I can set programmes manually.

Grateful that at least this time it didn't happen at a weekend.

Can SONY please resolve ASAP please.

This evening, I have reverted back to UK and all seems to have been resolved and I can get all channels and EPG is working.

This seems to be an improvemnet, so well done Sony, as you appear to have resolved the issue before many people have been impacted.
