4K Bluray UBP-X500 sound cuts out when Loud volume.

I bought the Sony 4K HD Bluray player for 4K Disc play.

unfortunately, some discs volume seem to be an issue with the player and the audio cuts out for a moment, So action scenes are horrible to experience.

the player has the latest firmware is connected with a very High quality HDMI Cable directly into the HDMI slot on my Projection system.

Has anyone else had this issue, or a possible solution. I am contemplating switching to a Panasonic as I heard they are amazing. Any help would be fantastic.

Hey @Carlscape. Does it happen on all discs or on a certain disc? If it only happens on double-layer Ultra HD Blu-ray/BD/DVD and triple-layer Ultra HD Blu-ray. The playback pictures and sound may be momentarily interrupted when the layers switch. Specified in Page 25 here. You might also try to Initialize the player, Page 21 and check again. I hope this helps.
