Android TV Pre Installed Apps

Hi there 

I need some help hiding apps from the Apps shelf which shows the pre installed Music, Video, Album, Playstation Video and Photo Sharing apps. although I stopped Sony Select from running, (the featured apps shelf with reccomendations) the apps mentioned above I am unable to hide from the Apps shelf where my user installed apps reside.

Also is there a way to delete pre installed music from the Music app?

You cannot vide the installed in the same way you cannot on a smartphone. However you can customize the discovery button in order to show only your favourite apps.

The best you can do is (in the Home Settings in Options) to show the apps ordered from the last recently used. In this way the apps you never use end up on the far right, and you will easily forget about them.

Also, if you like, you can completely remove the "Featured app" section, as described in this post.
