Bravia-kd55xd7005bu 5.1 Passthrough

I looking at buying this TV but I wonder if anyone who has it can help me out. Will the optical out passthrough 5.1 Dolby from an HDMI source in ie Sky or from an app Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, Plex.

My current TV is connected to a Sonos Playbar throught the Optical out connector and It will unfortunately be a deal breaker if this cannot do similar.

Hi there

There are a number of threads on this forum that reference using Sonos Playbar with their Android TV.  So I cannot see why it shouldnt work for you
