Channel Editor Not Working?
I recently purchased the Bravia 8II and have exported my channel list to a USB memory stick for editing on my PC. When I select the sdb.xml file on the memory stick, the program states that no channels were found. Any ideas?

I have exactly same issue with A95l +mobile channel editor app !!!
Sony support answered this Bull...t :
"...We have received the answer to your question from our technicians.
In this case, channel sorting has been disabled due to country-specific regulations and the rule to disable sorting applies to all operators. In the case of Finland, it is not a single operator that has requested this, but all of them.
On some older Sony televisions, channel sorting may be possible because this requirement had not yet been introduced. Similar restrictions can also be found in, for example, Sweden.
SO WHAT THE F..k!!! ???
Sony is lying!!! because digita.fi (finnish broadcast main unit) has never heard of such a thing.
And they (Sony) are not interested in it at all!!!

The program doesn't work at all, but the Bravia phone app does but with basic functionality, and it doesn't let you edit your favourites which is a massive drawback. Just the channels as they have been tuned in. Hopefully this can be addressed in an update.

After many hours head scratching, managed to open file using text editor on Mac. Managed to modify and save changes, use 'Save As'. Didn't reload as I use a Freesat STB as TV EPG no good.

Having looked at the support page for your TV and the downloads section, there is only a downloadable version of the channel editor for mobile devices, there is no longer a link for the channel editor for Macs or PC.
Click on the link below,
That makes me wonder if Sony are no longer supporting the 'computer' version with its newer TVs.
Were you perhaps using the channel editor app on your PC with a previous Sony TV and expecting the app
to work with your new Bravia 8 II.

Now the behavior of Sony support is ridiculous. They asked to send a screenshot of the TV channel signal information??? What the h..l does that have to do with the TV channel editor? Well I sent it.
Still, they claim it's the cable TV operator's fault, which is definitely not true.!!!
I also noticed that the A95L doesn't output dolby digital+ audio to my yamaha rx-A2a avr via ARC
My old KD55A85 did not have that problem.
This overrated "top class" A95L is totally piece of crap.
Fortunately i can return it and I will switch to another brand.Especially because of Sony's arrogance and lies.
