KD-55XH9505 switch between casting to chromecast and TV (and back)

Hello!

I want to know how to switch between TV (or any other app) and casting tab to Chromecast built in. Which input should i choose? There is no option for that. I now how this casting fom pc (like cast chrome tab) works (and it is working ok) but if i change to TV and then want to change back to casting to tv...how it works?

Do you have the latest software version on your TV? Have you checked the steps to use the feature in this article by Sony?

I have latest firmware installed. Unfortunately this Sony article is outdated, but i undrestood it. It says you can only cast to installed apps (youtube, netflix etc) but really you can cast tab from your computer chrome page. It can be any page. It works. My only concern is how you switch between TV and then BACK to this casting input. I just dont see it . My previous tv had chromcast in HDMI so i could change between inputs but this BUILT-IN Chromcast does not show any input to change. That is the problem.

PS. If i cast to tube or netflix or to wthatever in tv installed apps it works.

What you want to do with the internal chromecast is simply not possible. As soon as you choose another input, the connection to your external device is closed.

Make use of the TV button .Then to get back to cast stream I suspect you'd need to restart it on your phone (or other device). Different options might exist in the Google Home app - use the media button in the app. It list all the streams currently being played on your network - also shows when TV apps are "streaming" internally to the TV screen

I understand that what i hoped this tv is capable...it simply is not. Its so simple with NOT BUILT IN Chromcast but with this type its simply complicated. Hope Sony makes it happen in some update.
