KD-65X9300D ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION

Hi. I have recently purchased the KD-65X9300D and I am trying to activate it with Sony Entertainment and with Netflix so that i can achieve full 4K streaming. I am only getting HD at the moment and I understand that the device must be activated with both Sony and Netflix (using the same 5 letter code) before 4K streaming is possible.

The TV is telling me that it is registered as I have attempted to do this previously and the Sony Entertainment website reported an error during the activation process. The Sony website does not have the TV listed as activated.

How do I deativate / deregister the TV so that I can start the activation process again?

Does anyone have any experience with 4K streaming? My connection is 20 to 30 mbps.

Hi there

 

The Android TVs do not need to be registered with Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) in order to use the apps.

 

Simply just log into your Netflix account on the TV and you should be fine.  Just note that you need the 4K package from Netflix for 4K streaming.
