I have an Sony Android Bravia TV connected to Sony Soundbar. There seems to be a conflict whenever I leave another HDMI cable plugged in to the TV - in this case from my PC.
Description of the problem:
When I have left the PC HDMI plugged into the TV, and turn it on, no sound is delivered to the soundbar. I can switch back to the TV speakers, and they still work, although changing volume up and down is choppy (volume bar takes time to update). Removing the PC HDMI cable the TV re-locates the Soundbar, and sound is fine again, and when I plug the PC back in, now it works. But it is irritating, that I cannot just leave the cable in.
Does anyone know whats up with that?
Update: I just checked, the problem occurs even when the HDMI cable is just plugged in - there is nothing at the other end (i unplugged it from the PC).
???
Hi
It would help if you include the model numbers in your post so people can suggest what you can do to troubleshoot. Have you checked if the TV and Sound bar are up to date?

Try swapping the errant HDMI cable and the soundbar HDMI cable. See what happens and let us know.
