POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SONY KD-659005A/KD-XD9305

Hi Everyone

 

Just to discuss very poor service customer service and issues with various TV's. Originally, I bought a KD-65X9005A in NOV 13. Issues with light patches on screen from day 1, however, sound fantastic. Local Sony shop,  where I bought it from,  didnt feel any issues with screen. Eventually, had TV replaced in 2017 with KD-65XD9305. Very poor sound in comparison but picture o.k. Noticed Light patches on screen. A further 2 TV's of same model over last 12 months with same screen light patches. Also, both recent replacements failed to switch on after a few weeks of use. As well as the TV problems the Customer Service is terrible. I have spent the last 2 weeks speaking to various people at a call centre. I was promised call backs, none received !!. Everytime I call back I am assured this is a priority but NOBODY calls back. I spent £4400 on the original TV. Big mistake !!. I see from this site many issues with this TV model. In addition, the Customer Service is non-existant.  

 

Anyone else with similar issues ? Did you get resolution ? 

 

Any advice/help appreciated.
