When my NAS is connected to the android TV to display my photos or videos. The album App does not see the changes I have made to the Album🤔. like adding more Albums or deleting pictures from a Album .. I have cleared the Cache ,stop and restarted the Album App👍 , but it seem to be stuck on the same Albums .😩. if I view my Albums on a pc from the NAS the photos have been updated.. Note I am connecting to the NAS via DLNA on the laptop and TV . also I think the App is trying to index all the albums. it takes three minutes😱 to see all my Albums and same goes for the Music App .. too slow how do I stop it trying to index... I have used android "photoguru"😀 which work very well except it drops the NAS drive after a short time 🙄. this must be sony not allowing the use of thirdparty App ,, even VLC drops the NAS after a While... but the Sony Albums App never drops it .😳.mmmm HELP or who want to buy 50" sony 4k TV
Do you have the latest software version on your TV? Also what model are we talking about here?

KD-49XE8004 android, I have firmware "sony_dtvota_2016_160714" installed
my NAS is a QNAP 259 Pro.. i have no problem in viewing pictures or playing my music Albums on a pc using the DLNA protocol.. IT just seem to take the sony tv a long time to display my Albums folders .. 15 with photos from diffrent years.. and the music App just kept the blue circle keep spinning .i must have to many songs 😫

Have you tried clearing the cached data (Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) and restarting the TV (holding the power button)?
