I've recently purchased a Sony Bravia 9 (after returning the 8ii) and am experiencing an issue with raised blacks only when using the Sony Core Picture app. If I use it via PS5 Pro, the issue isn't present and it's like using an OLED, the local dimming works as intended. I've tried resetting the TV, turning off 'calibrated' setting and fiddling with Gamma.
Any ideas?
