unfortunately messaging has stopped after upgrading to massmallow

Messaging app is not working after upgrading Android OS to massmallow (v6.0), before it was working fine.
Can you plaease what to do to make it workable.

Settings - Apps - 3 dots - show system apps - find messaging apps - clear all section (caches and ect). By the way before do copy, coz deleting will erase all yours messages. It must work, for me worked
