It’s completely free to sign up and MySony members receive exclusive discounts, deals and cashback offers. You’ll also be the first to hear about the latest launches!
2. Tips and tutorials on the products you own
When you buy something from Sony, make sure you register it! MySony account holders are privy to inside tips and tutorial videos about the products they own; think of it as an extra way to care for your new purchase, enabling you to get more out of your technology.
3. Become part of the Community
The Sony Community is a place where you can get advice, discuss your experiences, and share information with other Sony customers and enthusiasts. Thousands of members are often online at any one time, which means you can usually get answers to your questions fast.
It’s fun too! As you contribute to the Community by starting topics, replying to questions, and solving problems, badges will appear on your profile page and you’ll go up the ranks. You may even achieve Super User status.
Super Users are a small group of dedicated Community members who work behind-the-scenes, volunteering their time to help with product issues, maintain the Community website, organise workshops, and improve the Sony experience. In return, Super Users get access to Sony engineers, the latest product training, and invitations to special events; certainly worth getting involved for!
It only takes a couple of minutes to create a MySony account. MySony is linked to other Sony accounts too, including Playstation Network, Sony Home Entertainment and Xperia, so if you already have an account with any of these, you can use the same details to log in.

Hacks for your MySony account
We hope you won’t need them, but if you ever encounter any glitches on MySony, the following tips and tricks should resolve them!
Invalid email address or password
MySony account is locked
If you exceed the maximum number of failed login attempts, your account will be locked for 120 minutes. You can try again then, or alternatively, reset your password.
Update your account details
To change your email, password or address, log in to your MySony account, click “My Account Details” and there you can update the fields.
Delete your account
Log in to your MySony account, click on “My Account Details”, scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll find an option to “Remove account”.
Link MySony with other Sony services
Log in to MySony using your other account’s details. You’ll receive a prompt to upgrade your account, for which you may need to enter some additional details.

Can’t find the product
Please note, only Sony Electronics (e.g. TV, audio, and photography products) can be registered on MySony. For other products, please visit Sony Mobile, Sony Professional or Sony Playstation.
Products purchased outside of Europe (e.g. Africa, Americas, Asia & Oceania, or Middle East) cannot currently be registered on MySony, so if this applies, please visit that region’s website to register your product.
If you’re confident you’ve got a Sony Electronics product (purchased in Europe) but you can’t find it manually, try using the drop-down menu instead. If you still can’t find it, it may be missing from our database, so please get in contact to let us know!
