I have taken panorama photos with my DSC-HX1. I used to be able to play them back as if panning across the scene, almost like a video, i.e. not static like any .jpg file, when using Picture Motion Browser (PMB). PMB has now been updated to PlayMemories Home, and I cannot find out how to play back panoramas.
I cannot find any mention of panoramas in the Help files/website, and there is not index or search function for help.
Hello teclowe - Welcome to the Sony Forums
Are you looking at this site for your information:

If you have the current version of the software, it should automatically detect panoramic photos and then display them accordingly (the PS3 version has this feature too). If you can see the photo files, is it just the case that the Panoramic function won't display them correctly?
Having said all of this, if you are still having a problem, there are some free software packages such as Irfanview that offer good support for panoramic photos.
Thanks,
Simon
I have looked at that site, and could not find any mention of the problem; so if you know one is there then please let me know.
I have version 1.2.00.03162 of PlayMemories, recently installed - maybe a week or two ago. The check for updates says there is no later version. I don’t know what PS3 is.
I can see the panoramic photos as fixed still images, and my problem IS that the panoramic function does not display them correctly and I don't know how to get it working. Hence my post.
