Increase GPS almanac from 30 days to 180 days

From my research, it seems that the GPS assist functionality uses GPS almanac data stored on the memory card (http://blog.brixandersen.dk/?p=153). The data on the memory card is good for 30 days.

The thread goes on to say that a regular GPS almanac last for 180 days. Is it possible for the PMB tool to supply 150-180 days of GPS data?

I suspect the almanac is specific to the card (or camera) so it's unlikely to be updatable in PMB.

I'm not 100% certain of that though... I'll ask around and get back to you here if I find out otherwise
