Movie recording wont on DSC-WX10

I have a new DSC-WX10 which I cannot get to record movies - when I select the movie icon on the wheel - I get "Movie with different video signal format from this device recorded. Recording is unavalable in this movie format"

I have not changed any settings since getting the camera - is this a fault or is there something I need to do - the camera is still under sony warranty.

Hello pk02137 - welcome to the Sony Forums

Once you have chosen the Movie mode on the wheel, push the Menu button and then choose Settings. In this menu, you will be able to adjust these settings until the camera allows you to record movies. You need to make sure that the movie format is appropriate for your camera, memory card and region.
