My DSC hx300 will not stay on VGA low resolution when turned off and then on again, when turned on i

When turned off and then on again it reverts to 20meg every time and it's driving me nuts resetting everytime l use it, most of the time l want to use it on minimum resolution. Any ideas? Many thanks.

Hi Graham,

Did the camera memorize the resolution before?

If so, then the buffer battery might be defect.
