hi. so I was going to buy this camera and before I do that I asked the employe If I could try it to see the manual mode. So it seems its not that manual. its like hx9v.
on hx20v technical specifications it says
Aperture Priority Mode | YES |
Aperture Manual Mode | YES |
although we can only select 3.2 or 8.0 in aperture and in top of that EV auto adjusts it self. So im confused with this manual mode. Conclusion I didn't buy it.

Hello
In these manual modes, there are a number of preset options to choose from relating to the aperture and EV settings as opposed to full manual control. This is due to the nature of the camera as well as the lens itself which means that it is not possible to offer the degree of manual control that you are describing.
Thanks,
Simon
hello, thanks for responding! well I guess for this price it does not has the, value for the money features, against for example hx10v or even hx9v. other compact cameras like canon s100 or lumix tz / lx series does manual like it suposed to and are cheaper. I guess its not hard to choose
