WX7 Won't switch back on after downloading pic to pc

Hi All

I've just returned my wx7 to PC world that I purchased just yesterday.  They tested the fault I was having and they had the same problem.

Basically after downloading my pics from camera to pc, I switch the camera off then disconnect it from the usb cable.  When I try and switch it on to use it again, nothing!! I physically have to take the battery out and put it back it and it works again! They tested the same error on their display model and it happened to that one aswell!

Could this be a generic fault?

I really like the camera and want to purchase another one, but at the cost of £169 I shouldn't have to physically reset the battery everytime I unplug from the PC surely.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have highlighted your comments to some other members of the forum to see if it is a common problem with this model. If there is a known fix, I will let you know as soon as I hear anything.
