insufficient storage

Hi there,here is my problem.
I have 4GB memory card and i cant set apps to save on it automaticly. Every time i want to download a game or anything from shop, error accures, insufficient storage but mi sd card is empty also as internal storage. I cant even manually set apps on sd card or internal storage. Before my phone downloaded latest android version it was all working just fine,it was all on my sd card and i had plenty of room in internal storage and phone storage. My question is how to transfer apps and music on sd card, and how to set saving on it automatic?

Apps cannot be moved to SD,it is a restriction set by google. You can move media files however using either a file explorer or the inbuilt option found in settings-storage.

Tnq,but i dont have that option, for media files...Some of my media files are on internal storage and some of it on SD card. If i want to move those on internal storage,i cant.cause there is no option. I can only see the number of fikes on internal memory. Files* can you tell me how to move those files then?

Hello there,

so I got my XPeria E from Amazon last week. The only apps I've downloaded are whatsapp, the facebook messenger and a small reminder app. I have no media files saved on the phone (that I'm aware of). Still, every time I try to update an app or download a new one, it tells me that the storage space is insufficient. Can anybody help me?

You should install Clean Master to clean the cache(junk file). Hope This useful.

Well, I have read all replies to the insufficient storage on xperia e dual. My problem is that I am not able to do all those complicated moves like take out battery or card..I moved what I could to SD card, I clean my phone on regular basis from all garbage, I have only few additional applications nevertheless I can't install  new ones because all the time I get information that there's not enough space. I don't want to experiment with repair by PC Companion because I do't want to lose my contacts in the phone..

I am more than disapointed.I When I bought this phone I knew, of course, that this is not the best one but it was also not the cheapest one, and I expected from such a good brand at least normal usage of the modern phone. As somebody has written here-it seems the only solution is to buy a -new one. When I will be forced to do so, in my case it wouldn't be Sony.

I believe producer has to take into account that not all users are smart enough to do all those recommended tricks alone  sending the telephone to another town isn't  a good solution..
