Blu-ray UBP-X700 audio connection to Analog amp with RCA input only..

I would appreciate Advice/experience  for the above - Blu-ray UBP-X700 audio connection to Analog amp via RCA - DAC transport for the digital audio?

I can check this for you. Just need to confirm the following details:

1. What are the cables you're planning to use?

2. How do you want to connect the player? And what are the devices you''ll be using in the connection?

Hi Vanilla,

The amp, Musical Fidelity X-A!, has RCA L/R input ports. 

The Blu-ray, Sony UBP-X700, has both a coaxial digital audio out and a HDMI audio out.  Not sure what to use but favour the HDMI audio via DAC/HMI audio stripper to RCA and the amp.

Ill be playing CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray but not sure of the technicalities?
