RDR-HXD910 EPG recording doesn't end

I have a RDR-HXD910 and when I set the recorder to record a program via the epg it records it fine but with increasing regularity the recorder doesn't stop recording at the end of the program, it just keep on going until someone stops it manually! Has anyone else suffered from this and if so is it a technical fault or is it a broadcast fault with the epg not sending out the correct stop signal?

I have had the same problem for a few years.  What I do is to record the next program, then erase it the following day,  That way I do not lose space!
