how to clear overview recent used apps on sony xperia u?

is the same on 2011 and 2012 Xperias w/ ICS. if you have GB then you need to restart the phone

i thought long press home button as sony xperia go and simply remove recent used apps...but it didn't work

I forgot to type  that

long press the home button > slide left to right that will stop it, now if you are talking about

settings > apps > running

that's something different,

what happen when you long press home > slide left to right > home > then long press home again ?

it'll be a lot easier if you post screenshots
